about

Que Sera was first published in 1956, is a popular song written by Jay Livingston and Ray Evans. The song was introduced in the Alfred Hitchcock film The Man Who Knew Too Much (1956), starring Doris Day and James Stewart in the lead roles. The orgion of the saying is unknown but attributed to both Spanish and Italian histories.

lyrics

When I was just a little girl
I asked my mother
what I will be
Heres what she said to me

Que sera sera
what ever will be will be
the future's not ours to see
Que Sera Sera
What will be will be.

When I grew up and fell in love
I asked my sweetheart
what lies ahead
will we have rainbows
day after day
this is what he said

Que sera sera
what ever will be will be
the future's not ours to see
Que Sera Sera
What will be will be.
