The song St. Jane’s was crafted from the tune St. Anne’s Reel, a tune who’s birthplace is still debated today. Some claim it is an old Irish Reel, some a contradance tune, others claim that it is an American old-time tune, and some even say that it dates back to the Renaissance. There is also a claim that the tune was named after a Miracle-worker St. Anne the Mother of Mary. We’ve recorded it in a minor key and added lyrics.
